Part I

The 'Interceptor' is utterly destroyed,
It's remains floating through the void.
It wouldn't have been blown off,
Were it not for a moronic show-off!
Anyways, that past has now passed,
It's good it's gone, now it won't last.
I've come back where I once belonged,
Back to those whom I had wronged.

I've seen the results of my pirating,
Wixen's been holding well, considering.
She's a good one, truly, a true pirate,
She's swift, skilled and strong of late,
She's a mighty killer, a great conqueror,
She took me, from within. It's a furor!
But she's pardoned me, I'm so grateful,
To meet someone like her, it's fateful.

I've returned back to tell her news,
There's a ship to capture and not to lose.
"There be this ship called 'The Friendship'.
An enchanted one, on a very long trip.
It's weird, it never sinks, it's invincible,
We don't know much, though it's visible.

All we be knowing is it's flag 'Loyal Tea',
A fine mighty flag, if I be saying so,
But how to capture, I be not know.
Cannons never be harming it at all,
And it's crew, me don't thinks it'll fall.
It sails keep it moving, ever-flowing,
Even if she's damaged, she's never showing!
But strangely, it has been broken,
It be not me, but spirits that have spoken.
It split into pieces, bow and stern,
It parted, each part ne'er to return,
But the magic of Friendship prevailed,
They be united, and together it sailed.

But Wixen, with me info and more of hers,
Told me something new thru this verse:
"'Longside her sails another ship dauntless,
She be strong, and unique, her name is Forgiveness."
Aye, I be hearing of her, I says to her,
But it's ne'er been seen, the mangy-cur.

"Friendship and Forgiveness sail as one,
All harm to Friendship, by Forgiveness undone."
That be the problem, me brave hearty,
We cannot be alone, we must be naughty.
Tha''s what I says to her, and she nods,
"What must we be doing, you say?"
I be not knowing now, there is no way.
"Then what shall we do? For it is our treasure!
Friendship and Forgiveness, treasures beyond measure!"
Aye, but be not haughty, for she's well-armed,
Both be armed, so strong, that they be not harmed.

"So what propose ye, Admiral MJ?
What say we do about today?"
We shall pillage around the seas,
Build up a crew, like thousands of bees.
"Our fine vessel be not so wide and big,
Thousands of crew shall rip it's rig!
We'll be needing another flag, Admiral.
We have to find one tha's under the Skull.

Yes, good girl, Cap'n Wixen, that be it!
Go now, and find a crew that be fighting-fit!
I shall remain in my cabin, planning,
Keep one man on the nest, scanning.
Go now, be quick, do not make haste!
We need a flag that won't go waste!

"Aye, Admiral. I be doing that right away!"
Cap'n, I calls her back, she turns, with a little sway.
"Yes, Admiral. What be ye wanting now?"
Stop calling me Admiral; Wixen, small dove.
She walks upto me, staring at me,
I look into her eyes, tears I see.
That be not suiting you, I says,
She slaps me, "Not me, but suits your ways!"

Part II

For the next few days Wixen be away,
Searching fer a terrifying flag all day.
But I knows in me heart she be sad,
What I had said made her feel very bad.

On the fifth day she returns, happy,
"I found a flag, strong, not at all crappy."
Tha's me cap'n, I says, patting her,
How many ships have she, dear?
She looks at me in the eye,
I looks away, daring not the defy.
"Three ships, Admiral, large, fast and powered,
Each a war brig, before which forts have cowered."
What be their names? Be they terrible?
"There names cast fear even within the horrible,
Killer Love, DeSeat, and the Jel Lassy,
Each one tainted, painted to be most classy."

What be their flag? I asks, for I wishes to know,
"They sail under 'Cruel T', Admiral, the Evil glow."
Excellent! Ye will be amply rewarded for yer work!
Very soon ye shall be replacing this foolhardy jerk!
"Very funny, Admiral," she laughs,
Her laugh echoing around like revolving halves.

Set sail for Cruel T, cap'n, and fire ye shall not,
"For if we do, Cruel T shall make us rot?"
Ye catch up quick, cap'n, real quick!
We sailed through storms, waves and drought, making us sick.
Do we be stopping? asks the crew,
A flash of steel, the Wixen's sword flew.
"Any of ye daring to stop this ship shall walk the plank!"
All fell silent, returning to their work, and I be unable to thank.
Thank ye, I says to me the young cap'n,
"There be no thanks, Admiral, it can happen."
I wonder what she be talking about,
When there be ships on the horizon.

"Ships ahoy! Cannons at the ready! Fire only on command!"
What be going on? We do not fire! What's this, I demand;
"Enemies, Admiral. We have to be ready,
Not Friendship and Forgiveness, but ye be steady."
From afar, it seem like one ship alone,
A spy-glass look shows ten ships, with cannons shone.
Three against seven, I shakes me head,
They be losing very soon I say, spilling their blood red.
"Those three be from Cruel T, Admiral!"
I looks again, and their names shine on their hull.
Dark pink carvings, on the largest, Killer Love,
Green writings reveal Jel Lassy, deadly as a dove,
And in pure black, the smallest, DeSeat.
They fight hard and silent, not suffering defeat.

We watches the fight, from afar,
"Cannonfire! On portside and the star-",
I watches in horror as the ships turn to us,
The Cap'n bleeding, the crew starting to fuss.
All ahoy! Raise the white flag! We mean no harm!
But the fire continues, all missing, like a charm.
They pulls alongside,
Grappling us, preparing to fight.
Pull swords out all! Come on Cap'n! We charge!
We face an inhuman crew, insanely large.
"Shiver me timbers, what be ye?"
None of that matters, we fight thee!

The crew was hostage, we were bound,
We were taken to the DeSeat, safe'n'sound.
"What be the meanin' of this, Deceptive John?
I be allying with ye! Where 'as your word gone?"
Ah, that, he says with a sneer,
This is DeSeat, if ye didn't see it from so near.
Let go of us, coward, leave us be!
Oooh, the wee-Admiral wants to be free!
The crew roars with laughter,
As John attempts a swipe at her.
I manage meself free and take him head-on,
A hit on my head, and everything's gone.

Part III

I feels pain on the back of me head,
I tries to sit up, but falls back to bed.
Fleeting images pass me by,
Images of me cap'n, whose love I cannot deny!
Me dreams are shattered by a bang,
Loud and continuous cannon-shots rang.
I peek out through a crack in the hull,
Sail the other two ships, flags with skulls.
One be black, the other be green,
This must be Killer Love, as there was none other on scene.

I try to see who they be fighting,
Me heart pumps up, pirate-within alighting.
But I feel angry when I sees they be attacking our ship,
A bang, a crack like a whip, and I see the sails rip!
My blood boils, rage engulfing me,
Avast ye scurvy-dogs! Let the ship be!
None hears me plea, but I hears footsteps,
I looks away from the hole, at the bars of me cage, towards the footsteps.
Me heart nearly stops when I sees me beloved Cap'n 'long with a scruffy pirate,
Cap'n! What be the meaning of this? You... and them?
"Deceit, Admiral, deceit. Part of this helm."
But... it cannot be so,
"It is so, you just don't know.
Now I have a ship to destroy,
You're just distracting me, acting like a narwhal's decoy."
I slump down to the floor as she leaves,
I begin to curse in me head: Brigands! Barbarians! Thieves!
As I looks out the crack again,
I see my ship go down, unable to take the strain.
Tha' ship was the one I loved!
Now there it goes down, just being shoved.

Wixen, the name echoes in me brain,
That cursed woman, she brings this pain!
The friendship's over, I says to the hull,
Without her, my life anyway ain't so dull!
I spend the rest of me time in the same clean room,
Waiting, slowly, for the impending doom.
But it ne'er came, not from outside, but within,
It is love, I say, love that is so chillin'.
'Tis pink, me eyes say, and I understands at once,
'Tis magic, enchantment, that's it, you dunce!
I cry out the days, over me ship,
There's nothing I did for her, nothing at all, skip.
Me heart beats for her each moment,
Hoping she comes back, ending me lament.
But she never does, never does she come,
No hint, no idea, she just stays dumb.

Days pass, and Wixen visits again, clean and neat,
She spends her time mainly on DeSeat,
But rarely comes aboard Killer Love, for planning.
I look away from her, This friendship's over, I says, standing.
Don't call me at all, I says, you are deceitful,
"Fine, stay as you are, but ultimately, I'll do the needful!"
And then she goes off, I never see her again.
I go back to sleep, my head hurting with pain.

Part IV

I smell gunpowder, I smell poison,
I smell it in the air, I smell treason.
I sit up suddenly, banging me head,
As I come to senses again, there's no bed,
There's no cleanliness, there's nothing,
It's empty, all dark green, I feel I'm missing something.

BOOM! BOOM! goes the cannon-fire,
And the ship jolts twice, catching the fire.
A crack of wood, a lightning-rip of sails,
A great lurch of the ship, and out come the nails.
They're really getting it, I thinks,
Hope they don't go down, that'll stink:
I still have to capture Friendship and her sister!
I have to get them first and then I'll die, mister!
A flash of wood and my side of the hull's flying,
I sail through the air, and I'm down under, lying.
Water floods my cell, but I'm trapped,
This one isn't open, it's like a cage: I'm strapped!
Green sea-water flows in, angrily,
I stare out over the waterline, hungrily.
I'm mesmerized by the sight I see,
It's beautiful, the sight that I see!
It's huge, blue, pink, red, rainbow-hued;
It's the Friendship! My eyes seem so glued!

Cannon-fire rips through it,
In my anger, all I can do is spit!
The water is still flowing in rapidly, drowning me,
It goes above me head, choking me,
The saltwater stings me, my eyes,
I feel so jealous suddenly, no lies.
I wish I was safe, I wish I had that ship,
I wish I was free, I wish I was the one making this trip.
My jealousy turns to envy,
The seawater around me more green than leaves of a tree!

My world slowly fades from green to black.
I absorb how much of Friendship I can see, 'cause I don't believe I'll be back.
It goes in vain, the green is too much,
It's opaque, I can't even see my hands as such!
Death pulls me in closer, I'm drowning,
My envy keeps me alive, frowning.
I envies those aboard unsinking ships,
I envy those who've made safe trips!
I envy my former Cap'n, safe'n'sound,
Firing off her cannons, round after round!
I inhale the green, choking within myself,
Drowning within me, envying thyself.
I take one last gulp, and I see no more,
Darkness takes me over, to a far-side shore.....

Part V

I feel water on my face,
I wake up, sunlight burning my face.
"Thank heavens ye be awake, Admiral!"
I jump back at the voice, slamming into the hull.
"It's alright, Admiral. It be the cap'n! Wixen!"
It be ye alright! Avast ye scupperin' traitor then!
I pulls me falchion out, standing up,
She be standing there, her body frozen up.
"What be ye sayin' Admiral? I? Traitor?
Never! How could ye accuse me! I be your sailor!"
Liar! I roars, Ye cannot mutiny against me!
"Mutiny? What are ye saying? This can't be!"
I be telling the truth, scum, you cheated!
Ye allied with 'Cruel T' to take Friendship and Forgiveness, undefeated!
"WHAT? Ye cannot be serious! I?
I would never cheat, never even lie!"
If ye are not allied with them, who be John?
"John? I do not know any John! Except the one who mows me lawn!"
ENOUGH! Enough of yer filthy excuses!
"Excuses? Admiral, you're just sending out more amuses!"
She laughs at this point, not hard, not cruel.
"Admiral, you were knocked out in a hand-to-hand duel!
You fainted! We thought ye were dead! Until....."
Yes? I says, lowering me weapon, until?
"Until we sees you shaking and screaming,
Ye were talking nonsense, maybe dreaming."

It was a dream? I speaks aloud,
"What was a dream?" asks an inquisitive crowd.
"WHAT BE YER BUSINESS HERE? GET BACK!
GO BACK, OR I'LL CALL UPON CALICO JACK!"
Calico Jack? "The best entrail-spiller in the place..."
Ne'er seen 'im! "'Course you haven't... no one knows his face."
"HOW DARE YE EAVESDROP! GET BACK TO WORK, MAGGOT!"
Ye know, ye are being a little harsh on them. "Oh, I forgot!"
Yes, keep that temper of yers in control,
One day it might just take it's toll.

So, tell me what happened in the battle.
I remember fighting, and then the ship shook like a rattle.
"We ne'er lost, we were saved by Friendship, and Forgiveness."
Gadzooks! I jumps up, Why didn't ye attack them? Now where they are, we are clueless!
"Admiral, they helped us! Forgiveness fixed our ship! Friendship drove off Jel Lassy, DeSeat.
But Killer Love survived. It went down, but didn't suffer defeat!"
How is that possible? Went down without losing?
"Well, I suppose the crew was sad and boozing...."
Right......
"So, when next do we fight?"
As soon as the chance comes.
Wixen leaves, to the sound of Sunrise Hums...

"PULL OVER TO HER PORTSIDE!
GRAPPLES AT THE READY! READY TO FIGHT!"
Load up the cannons! She will be ours!
Fire only on command! Do not act like cowards!
We were closing in on Friendship, fast,
Judging by her weakness, she wouldn't last.
"They are brave," Wixen says.
Aye, I agrees, but I guess it be their ways.
Friendship was incoming to us,
Forgiveness nowhere to be seen, in the morning dusk.
She was on on full sails, at maximum speed,
Worst battle navigation, I thinks, maximum speed.
As she came in closer, we were stunned.
All of her cannons were shut and shunned.

Blackbeard's beard! Is it a trick?
"Even if it is, we won't fall fer it, ye rotten piece of floating stick!"
Load the grapes! Take the crew out!
Do not damage the ship! I shout.
As Friendship pulls over to our side, she slows.
"FIRE! BLOW THE SCUPPERERS TO DAVY JONES!"
Several bangs and woods later, the ship stops moving.
Boarders board the ship, swords in hand,
I go first, Wixen behind, leading the band.

The deck was huge, and endless,
Each side we see, emptiness.
No one in sight, not a hint of blood,
There was no grape-damage, nor cannon, but there should.
"This place is cursed," says Wixen, uneasy,
"I feel it in the air. It's strong, it's making the crew queasy."
Cursed, yes, I agree. The ship is ours!
Said too soon, I had. For arrows flew from the masts like arrows from towers!
Cannon-fire rang out, boarding planks splintered,
The air turned cold, everything was wintered.
My sword frosted in me hand, and fell.
More cannon-fire, and our ship burned like hell.

Part VI

"Ye cannot take o'er Friendship so easily!"
The jolly pirate spoke to me, dizzily.
What's with ye? Why be ye so dizzy?
"Ye do not know with what we've been busy."
I watched the topmost sail of me ship go down,
Ne'er to return, for to pieces it was blown!
We were bound, very loosely, but they shouldn't know,
Otherwise our chances of escape would blow!
"But how shall we escape?" Wixen says,
"No dinghies here, and no other ways."
I be worried when I hears that,
"Now what, Admiral? No boat for any stinkin' sea-rat!"
But a voice deep within me tells,
Beware the power of magic and spells!

"Nonsense! Are ye out of yer mind?"
If ye don't see something, does not mean ye are blind!
Nor does it mean it does not exist!
But I was stopped by a sudden and strangely silent and stifling mist,
It was warm, dry, and wet.
A curse! Anyone want to bet?
"That's no curse, Cap'n. That's Forgiveness..."
And sure enough it was. Tha's the larges-
"Ship you've ever seen? It is the hugest!"
Hugest? What's that? A crap attempt at a jest?
The ship was huge, whate'er be the case,
Fast too, we could've ne'er given it chase!
What chase now, I say?
My ship at the bottom of the ocean lay.
"KILL THEM!" "THE PLANK!" "THE KRAKEN!"
Friendship's crew was leaving my own shaken:
I called for our execution, pirate-style:
Settle this the old way, it'll be worthwhile!

"Alright, our crew against yers, one-on-one!"
We were freed, swords returned, and put our backs to the sun.
Ye be in the wrong side, matey! I said, as I slashed my quarry,
Ending his worthless and vile story.
"AVAST!" I faced back to a gash on me cheek,
Nonetheless, I was still strong, not yet weak.
The fight could've lasted for days,
If only my crew hadn't fallen like shattered trays.
We were down to only three now:
Me, the Cap'n, and Greak. We couldn't defeat them, if so, how?
"We don't go down till we die too!"
"ARR! I go with the Cap'n, Admiral. I'm going to do what I do!"
Fight, ye land-lubbers, fight! I charges out at my enemies, one on ten.
I knock out two, stab one, and about to kill one, when a scream follows just then.
I lose my focus, turning around, looking for me comrades,
When a slam on me head makes the world go fade.

Part VII

"Let them go!"
"We are more than we show,
You have no reason to forgive them!"
"You have no reason to kill them!
Let them be! They will not remember anything,
The magic of Forgiveness will make their memories fling."
"If you say so, but this is the last time,
They WILL be killed if they repeat this crime!"
"Ye have my word on that. Death it shall be."

I hear this conversation repeatedly in my head,
Unable to place between whom it had been said.
The fresh sea air, the smell of gunpowder, of wood,
Made me feel reborn, alive, fresh and good.
We was back on the same old 'Wicked Vixen', my ship,
The same one blown to bits, the one blown apart by Friendship.
So how we be back? I have no idea, matey.
Really! I just wakes up from sleep, with nothing, except the conversation within me head, feeling weighty.
None of us remembers who or what happened to us, except me,
But it's all just a blur, a mere pass through my memory.
"What Friendship? What are you talking 'bout Admiral?
Something's addled yer mind, within that thick skull."
That was her reaction when I tells her of the ship,
And I quickly learned not to repeat, or she'll lose her grip....

"Well Mr. Admiral, it's yer turn to steer. I’m in yer hands now, where do we go from here?"
Saywha? What's this 'Mr. Admiral', 'in yer hands'? Is this something to fear?
"Oh no, no, Admiral," she says, in a strangely sweet seductive sound,
"There's nothing at all, nothing at all," her voice in the air around.
Ye had better take some rest, Cap'n, Something's wrong with ye.
"Something? I savor yer warmth, ye're ever so kind! I feel we are one - heart, soul and mind!"
This is weird, something that piracy has never defined.
No, I says to her, you are addled. I know what troubles you, take rest.
"As it winds down, I must confess: my mind is unmade and I’m just a mess."
This is getting way out of me hands, Cap'n. I suggest shore leave.
"NO! No way am I leaving this ship! This ship is within me, and me within it! No shore leave!"
Take rest then, ye are troubled by fears unknown.
Go now, I'll take the helm, take rest, it 'as been a long day and ye've been on deck since dawn.
"I suppose ye are right, Admiral, as always. Guess I should be off now."
She went below deck to her quarters, leaving me frozen, about her declaration of love.
ARR!! I shook me head, hard. There's nothing like that in the world, never in a pirate.
NEVER! At no rate!
The ship moved on, wind picked up speed,
I was at the helm, her words did... finally.... succeed.

Part VIII Take 1

Pull alongside the Jel Lassy!
"Prepare the welcome party!"
We had finally found them,
The three ships, elusive as gems.

Welcome aboard! I greets,
As the Captain of Jel Lassy comes up and meets.
"Admiral MJ! How honourable!"
He says, making me unstable.
"Why! You are too modest!
And yes, Miss Wixen from the West!
How delightful to be with you!"
"Why thank ye, Cap'n. Nice to meet you too!"
Now, shall we talk? My cabin.
"Alright, ye be the Admiral. Ye win."
I was flattered with his words,
Amazingly put, sharp as swords.
We filed into me 'quarters',
Posters on the walls of Harry Potters.
"Ye have some taste, Admiral, I must say."
Nay! I hate him, that's what I say.
"Then why the them on the hull?"
Without 'im sword-fight practice be dull...
"Nice one, Admiral, nice one!
Now shall we get this done?"
"But what about the other Cap'ns?"
Fair question, Cap'n Wixen, what of others happens?
"They be here soon, I believe.
Cap'n DC, of Killer Love, is on leave."
Why? I cuts in. Any trouble?
"Lots of 'em! He's like rubble!"
My condolences to 'im, Cap'n.
"Why, thank ye, Admiral. It happens..."
I turns 'round at the new-comer,
"Cap'n DC, in yer service. And Summer..."
Who? Summer what? Who?
"Me Admiral. I'm a Cap'n for you,
But fer them, I'm Princess Summer."
A pirate princess? I'm a bummer!
"No, Admiral. You've treated me right,
Keeping me high, trusted in yer sight.
I'm in yer debt now, Admiral MJ."
I looked away, flushing like the day.
It's nothing, had I known it before,
I'd have done more, much more.
"Not to interrupt the... talk,
But we have to be like a hawk.
Quick, swift, deadly. No time."
Right, wasting time now is a crime.
Sit down, and we shall begin.

We began talks of the assault,
Laying out plans without a fault.
"Ahoy! We have a plan, mateys!"
ARRR!! A toast to all on the seas!
"To Wicked Vixen, might of all!"
To Jel Lassy, cause of Friendship's fall!
"To Killer Love, destroyer of many!"
"To the Admiral, sweet as honey!"
I choked with the goblet in my hand.
I felt like I had just eaten sand!
"Admiral, are you all right?"
Cap'n Wixen knelt by my side.
I looked up into her eyes,
And I fell into them, these're no lies.

Part VIII Take 2

I opened my eyes slowly,
Remembering those words so holy.
Why? Why is she doing it?
I sat up, cursing, muttering sh*t.
Wait, where am I? I thinks.
It's not my cabin. Mine stinks.
Well, sort of, it does, sometimes.
I'd never been here any time.
I looked around, afraid.
What if the dream was true and I'm to be dead?
I shuddered at the thought,
But threw it out to rot.
This isn't Killer Love, no pink.
But Killer Love didn't stink.
Right, I know, but.. it's my ship.
Hmm, can't disagree. It's yer ship.

I stood up, looking around.
Pink! I frowned.
What's this? I says to myself,
Picking up a lone book on a shelf.
'Thoughts of Summer', it read.
I dropped the book, my face went red.
Cap'n Wixen's room? Dear me!
A princess' room? Spear me!
I felt ashamed, and confused,
Why this room? I perused.
I tried to open the door,
Locked. Damn! I kicked the floor.
I tried knocking it, hoping,
It opens, by magic. Hoping.
No one came. I was stuck.
Ill-fate or some good luck?
Wish I could say it was the latter.
But alas! What's luck with no chatter?
I picked up the book I found.
It was neat, covered, and bound.
I opened it, pages dog-earred,
Used a lot, judging by the ink smeared.
Bright red, blue, and dark black,
A rainbow shone from it back!
I read through, mindlessly,
Paying no attention, except for words like 'Wellesley'.
Wellesley? I have no idea.
Another page, a rosalia.

She's an excellent writer,
I thought, and a fighter.
Multi-talented, that's a princess!
Beauty also in excess!
I turned through her leaves,
Reading her poems of love and grief.
Weird, I thought, finishing one.
There was no happiness, nor fun.
All of sadness, and grief, evil.
Gory, deadly, like medieval.
What's into this girl?
I thinks, as the next page unfurled.
Something troubles her,
I believe, trouble that had her deter.
But my thoughts tumbled,
And my very soul crumbled,
Seeing the title on the next page:
'The Admiral'. I felt like I was on stage.
A poem? About me? From a princess?
Oh damn, this is so embarassing! Shameless!
Nonetheless, I read it:

"I am still not sure,
Whether I love you.
But for me,
Only God is above you.

I admire your spirit!
I cherish your soul!
Despite all the heartbreak,
That has taken its toll.

I find you amusing,
You're interesting too.
You brighten me up,
Whenever I’m blue.

But I still feel,
Like I have a doubt...
This is a problem
I can't sort out.

I savor your warmth,
You're ever so kind.
I feel we are one -
Heart, soul and mind.

But oh, you're so horrible!
And how you frustrate me!
You say that you love me,
Then claim that you hate me!

But I guess I adore you
At life’s every bend.
But I am still unsure,
If you’re more than a friend.

You're, oh, so creative,
Your mind is enthralling.
And when you’re unbalanced,
Your behavior's appalling.

At the first glance,
You seem to be a geek.
But there's so much more to it,
Just take a peek.

As it winds down,
I must confess:
My mind is unmade,
And I'm just a mess.

My Pride breeds anger
That boils inside me.
But at the end of the day,
I still want you beside me.

I'm simply perplexed,
So I'm turning to you.
My request is simple:
Tell me what to do!!

You're doing this on purpose,
Please have some pity!
You're ruining a Wixen,
Who claimed to be witty!

How I despise you!
But you're the one for me!
I love you, I hate you!
The paradox - 143!

What am I saying?
I'm going insane.
You're giving me pleasure,
You're causing me pain!

I never knew,
You could be so cruel…
I never knew,
I could be such a fool…

Well Mr. Admiral,
Its your turn to steer.
I'm in your hands now,
Where do we go from here?"

My heart stopped beating,
My temperature went heating.
I was sweating profusely,
Able to breathe, but loosely.
What was that? I asked,
As I regained strength, masked.
She.... likes me? Me?
No! Not possibly!
I'm her Admiral! A pirate!
She's a princess! A shipmate!
Maybe it's just for the poem,
It has to be. She ain't dumb.
She wouldn't leave it open,
Nope. Maybe, it's just for fun.
Maybe, you say, maybe.
It can't possibly be so!
It could be, I know you know!
It's a rare chance!
It's called romance.
Shut up, MJ!
Fine. Have your way.
Good, now leave me alone.

The door creaked open,
I turned around to see heaven.
"Admiral, is everything alright?"
Hey Admiral! Wasn't I right?
Admiral? Why're you staring?

Part VIII Take 3

"I thought I heard voices."
I didn't have any choices.
Aye, you heard right.
"Sounded like a fight."
Nothing, leave it aside.
She sat down beside.
"Look into my eyes."
Is that an order in disguise?
She flushed deeply,
Glowing red steeply.
I'm sorry, I didn't mean to -
"I know you didn't mean to."
A long silence followed.
My very soul seemed hollowed.
I looked at my hands,
Trying to understand,
Of all piratey feelings,
Why this one was so appealing.
It wasn't a pirate emotion,
Love on the ocean.
I shook my head, and she asked:
"Is anything wrong, Admiral?" I basked,
Basked in this wonderland,
Hoping she would understand.
"I know, Admiral, what you feel."
I looked up at her gaze, strong as steel.

Admiral! Break away from it!
I don't care, dammit!
You wouldn't dare!
This is my life. I know for what I'll care.
So you're going to kill me?
No, I am just going to spill you.
You wouldn't. I'm... your past.
You were my past, alas.
I suppose you're leaving me.
Fine, I won't oppose. Go. MJ, stop grieving.
I won't fight back my tears,
I will never let you bow down to your fear.
You will leave me, I know,
But I'll be there. Now go!

"Admiral? Something's wrong!
Tears down your face, trailing long.
What is the matter? Tell me!"
I suddenly decided to break free.
I stood up, with an effort,
Wiped my tears off, feeling hurt.
Ripped off from myself,
I took her shoulders, gently as an elf.
There's something I need to talk about, Princess.
"Yes, Admiral?" Her voice was soft and without stress.
Something made me change,
Something that seemed strange.
I moved in closer to her face.
She closed her eyes, avoiding my gaze.

I pushed her back, gently.
She opened her eyes and look at me, shockingly.
Tears ran down her eyes:
"Nice work, Admiral. Real nice."
She turned around and about to go,
When I read aloud something I didn't know:

"That Summer... we talked... endlessly,
Always, about everything,
Nothing new for you.
I felt, hey!, under, and cool breezes,
The heavenly!
Face me, face me, sitting in my memory,
Hold me, hold me, I remember!
Face me, face me, sitting in my memory,
Hold me, hold me, I remember!
We argue, constantly,
Disagree, about everything.
Distance, nothing new for me,
I felt, uneasy, under this thing,
Thoughts away... the heavenly!
Face me, face me, sitting in my memory,
Hold me, hold me, I remember!
Face me, face me, sitting in my memory,
Hold me, hold me, I remember!"
Nice work, Admiral. Hats off to ya!

She stopped, turned around at me, cried more.
She wiped her tears, shoulders squared, and opened the door.

She's going! Hurray! Huzzah!
"And darkness falls over my eyes,
And days are far from rosy now,
And if I asked for the sky....
Will you still shelter me if the sky.... falls?
Face me, face me, sitting in my memory,
Hold me, hold me, I remember!
Face me, face me, sitting in my memory,
Hold me, hold me, I remember!"

She stopped suddenly,
Turned around, looked at me for an eternity.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!
You are such a freak, you know?
I never got any of his replies.
I just hope he chokes and dies.

Yeah, even I was stunned by looking at the sheer size of it... hope we can make it into school textbooks one day!

Board exam questions:
Q. Which song did the Admiral sing to Cap'n Wixen?
Q. Name the flag under which Friendship and Forgiveness sailed.

Hope this is true!

Part IX Take 1

"Get behind DeSeat! Trail 'em!"
Keep to the plan, we have 'em!
We be flowing in DeSeat's wake,
In the moonlight, a deadly stake.

I had a feeling of deja vu,
When I saw Friendship anew.
Something's wrong, I thought.
Let those thoughts rot.
Right now you need to fight.

You're right. Throw them aside.
Good. That's more like it!
Like what? Spill it!
I'm not saying, no way.
Alright, have your way.

Friendship lay moored,
In front of a dark island obscured.
Mist covered the island,
Like devil's work in hand.
Forgiveness, I thought.
It's here, I feel so hot.
"It's just the weather, Admiral.
Wonder why, though? It wasn't so dull."
I looked at Wixen,
You wouldn't understand, nor would the men.
"Well, Cap'n, you'd better rest.
We can handle this. Our flag's one of the best."
So it is, I said, looking at our flag,
A twisted image of a horrible hag.

I entered my cabin, and shut the door.
I pulled up a chest from within the floor,
Taking out the Princess' book from it.
Does she love me to the end of her wit?
Probably. Fools don't need wit to love!
Quiet, you!
I turned the pages, past scribbles old and new,
Until I reached one that caught me.
'Wixen Flava', it turned out to be:

"Public warning, who's in town?
The Wixen's gonna take you down...
Better back off, keep your head low,
Coz she can deliver a fatal blow.
Her aim's good for 60 paces,
Feminine touch in all the right places.
She might look harmless but she's cruel,
Don't mess with her, you braindead fool.
Her victims span an endless list,
Pray your face won't meet her fist!
Brutally honest, brutally tough,
All girls aren't made of this stuff.
If you look inside you'll find,
Love's the last thing on her mind.
Doesn't need a guy to feel whole,
Independent mind,body and soul!
She's in charge; she's got the reins:
Rebelliousness flows in her veins.
She thinks there's nothing above her,
Your biggest mistake would be to love her.
Her ego probably weighs a ton,
Won't give herself to anyone...
Stalks her prey, pretty in pink,
More deadly than you'd ever think!
Play nice and she's a good friend,
Say the 'L' word, it's the end.
You'll never hear her say,'143'.
She's her own person, can't you see?
She'll wrap you around her graceful fingers,
When she's gone, her presence lingers...
You can taste her in the air,
Just can't help it, got to stare.
Boy, let go of these dreams,
ITS HOPELESS - or so it seems.
"Hey dude, we'll be friends forever!
But boyfriend? Hell no, NEVER!"
"

It slammed me like a wall of bricks.
It hit me, like Dhoni hitting a six.
It paralysed me, imprisoning me.
She wrote that as a poem, see?
She never like you, never ever.
It was just a plan, to help you. Clever.

I dropped the book onto the floor.
Stamping it, crunching it, till it tore.
What plan? What do you know?
She wished to rid you of shadow.
Sha- what? What crap is this?
If this is some trick, it's... not a bliss...
SHE KISSED ME FOR THE KRAKEN'S SAKE!
AND NOW YOU'RE TELLING IT WAS FAKE?
I'D HAD ENOUGH OF HER BABBLING!
PRINCESS, EH? I SEND HER OVERBOARD SCRAMBLING!
I stomped to the door, opened it,
Scrambling onto the deck, gave Wixen a hit.
Thought it was funny, did ya?
You're nothing more than a bilge-rat! See ya!
I pulled her to the railings,
Ignoring her pleas and wailings.
I pulled out my cutlass:
Stop it! You're making a fuss!
I don't take orders from NEs!
Am I an NE? You're finished, in ease.
"CAPTAIN! WHAT DO YOU THINK YE'RE DOING?"
I felt arms pinning me, catching my weapon.
LET GO OF ME, GREAK, OR THE WORST WILL HAPPEN!
"Oh no it won't!" She managed to disarm me,
That doesn't stop me from harming thee!
I lunged out at the traitor Cap'n,
She fell overboard. It did happen.

She wasn't seen from then on.
Anyone want to mutiny will be torn,
Anyone? Good, now prepare the cannons.
"You will pay, Jey. There are canons.
You will regret what you did today."
Don't make yerself walk the plank the same way,
Continue on yer work, or face it.
"To hell with ye, dead-in-the-head jerk. Damn it!"
