BROWN STUDY

I fell really slow
My head hit the pillow.
I closed my eyelids
the winds outside began to billow.

They face me again
those golden-brown eyes.
I let myself loose in them,
Though its all just lies.

Those few minutes,
moments like a lay,
no, they weren't a dream,
my sleep is very far away.

All feelings bad and sad,
are nowhere near me.
Only happines and joy
give me their company.

Then I open and look up
the ceiling's still overhead.
No gold or brown around,
I'm back, lying in my bed.

I wonder whose eyes they are,
I've never seen their likes before.
I think I created them in my head
to drive away thoughts that are sore.

These beautiful moments
trance all good thoughts I find.
They drive away pain
and give me peace of mind.
