"Let bygones be bygones"
is what I hear everyday.
"Forget all bad that came
if its already passed away".

How can I bring myself
to forget that lonely night?
I want to correct me,
I know I'm not right.

"I'm trying my best"
I say, trying to believe.
"Oh! forget it will you?
be happy, stop! Don't grieve"

But how do I forget
that precious scathing look?
Its stamped in my mind
as if printed in a book.

I'd like to tare that page
As soon as I get its edge.
I want to forget that day,
I want to delete that image.
